Landmarks in the Sand

By Jeannie Carlson

Jeannie Carlson, the poet, journalist, educator and opera singer, has fashioned a delightful poetry collection that is both dynamic and authentic. Take a walk with her through the streets, alleys, yards, and into the very heart of St. Petersburg, Florida.

This masterful collection of 44 poem and photo combos captures the essence of actual places in a metaphoric journey through a beloved west coast Florida city. Each poem-photo is enjoyably accessible on the surface, but with levels of depth that allow for exploration beyond what is seen into what is spiritually encountered.
